Clarity 1.0

Clarity 1.0 for Windows CE. An example of "color antialiasing" (Microsoft has a similar technology named ClearTypeTM*, mentioned in recent press regarding future Windows CE products).

Since a color LCD has individual red, green, and blue components in each pixel of the display, by altering the luminance of these components when rendering text, one can make the edges, curves, and corners of text to appear much finer and less jagged than before. This differs from "standard antialiasing" which simply colors "in-between" parts of a jagged line with grey pixels.
